The 2020 GMC Acadia is distinguished by its smart technologies, including a new optional turbocharged engine and the latest GMC infotainment system, as well as a new look, giving customers more options for excellence on the go. The family of models includes SLE, SLT, the all-new AT4 equipment category and GMC's leading Denali class, with different seat positions available to accommodate five, six or seven passengers, depending on the model.
At a glance, Acadia distinguishes itself for the year 2020 with a new front grille, new front and rear interfaces and unique C-shaped lighting that are exclusive to GMC.
The all-new Acadia AT4 model expands the options offered by the new GMC sub-brand. Her bold design touches, including a black grille embellished with chrome accents, give the Acadia family a robust design inspired by bumpy tracks. The AT4 is standard on its 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, as well as the AWD system with twin clutch. Unique 17-inch wheels and all-wheel tires are standard equipment, with a larger 20-inch wheel option.
Available as standard on SLT and Denali models, a new 2.0-liter engine with turbocharger, expands Acadia's payment options for the benefit of customers and adds a new dimension to performance.
The GMC brand ranks the engine at a power level of 230 hp (172 kW), with torque at 258 lb-ft (350 Nm).
The reliable I-4 2.5-liter and 3.6-liter V6 remain standard or optional equipment on the 2020 Acadia, depending on the category of equipment chosen. All engines offer an on / off switch and are coupled with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The 2020 GMC Acadia will go on sale in autumn, and it will be produced at the GM assembly plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee, USA.
