2020 Jeep Gladiator appears first after 15 years of its prototype
JEEP / JEEP
Fifteen years have passed since we heard the first whispers of Jeep's intention to introduce a new pickup. Finally, this is now a reality, as it is the Gladiator pocket that carries everything that Wrangler provides, but with a pickup body.
Gladiator is based on an old school structure, and it has only four doors. The car uses high hardness aluminum in the manufacture of doors, bonnet, axles, fenders, windshield frame, and rear gate.
The trunk is 5 feet in length with three rear gate positions. There are two options available to it, either with a fixed ceiling or another removable roof.
On top of it, Gladitor comes with LED headlights, fog lights and DRLs. At the back, there are LED lights too. Inside, the driver has a 3.5-inch screen grabber or an optional 7-inch tool. On the center console, an optional 7 "or 8.4" display infotainment system screen is available.
The car is powered by a Benta Star V6 petrol engine with a capacity of 3.6 liters, generating 285 hp and 353 Nm. It is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission or another optional 8-speed automatic transmission. And by 2020 there will be another diesel engine available with a capacity of 3 liters and a power of 260 hp.
Gladitor's production process will start in the first quarter of this year and orders will begin to be delivered in the second quarter.
