2020 Ford Escape arrives with a new design and two hybrid options

FORD / Ford

Ford unveiled its 2020 Ford Escape Crossover. Comprehensive new design. Ford shed 91 kg of car weight despite being equipped with a metaphor and wider wheelbase. The height of the passenger level has also been reduced. This design change can reduce the identity elements of the SUV segment for the Hatchback segment.

The increased width of the metaphor and the wheelbase helped to provide more room inside the vehicle, for the upper room, the shoulder and hip space for both rows of seats. Slip-on seats are only available for gasoline models, and can free up to 1062 liters of space for luggage. While the battery installed under the seats disables that function on hybrid models.

All specifications exceeding the base S model received an 8-inch infotainment screen, and an optional 12.3-inch infotainment system. With a 6 inch front windshield viewer. Driving modes such as comfort mode, Eco, Sport, snow, sand and slippery modes are also available. And there is a safety feature called Dodgy Direction Helper, which helps to direct it to Escape to avoid fixed or slow moving cars.

The 2020 Escape is powered by a number of engines including a 1.5-liter petrol engine for the base model that generates 180 hp and 240 Nm of torque. A larger 2-liter engine produces 250 hp and 373 Nm of torque. The models are paired with a front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. There is a hybrid model that takes advantage of a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and the system generates 198 hp output and is accompanied by a standard CVT transmission with an optional all-wheel drive system. And no information has been disclosed about the hybrid electric model yet except that it generates a force of 209 hp and can run for a range of 48 km, depending on pure electricity.
